Sad news today. After three seasons of United States of Tara, Showtime has decided to cancel the series due to a drop in ratings from season one to season two and an even bigger drop from season two to season three.
After tonight, three episodes remain of the series…so enjoy the Diablo Cody goodness while you can! It’s been a great adventure to date…and while we most likely will not get a conclusion tied in a pretty bow, surely the ending will leave us satisfied. So thanks Diablo Cody for three seasons of great television!

i just finished watching season 3 of u.s.t., and i want diablo cody to know that she is my heroine. she has created the absolute perfect dysfunctional family. season 3 was the ideal balance of laughter and tears, which to me, veritably represents the expression of being and feeling alive.
